| Our
winter vacations are suitable for beginner to seasoned winter
adventurers. Enjoy the opportunity to be based at the Lodge
and stay in our cozy log cabins or head out into the wilderness
to enjoy one of our remote Alpine camps. During your stay with
us, you are not limited to one activity; you are able to "mix
and match" from our list of available activities. Your time
with us can be as adventure packed or as relaxing as you wish;
we tailor your activity lengths and schedule to accommodate
your desires.
Winter
Camping: Take
the chance to learn outdoor survival skills during our winter
camping expeditions. Learn skills such as survival shelters,
fire craft, and small game snaring while staying in one of
our rustic Alpine camps or cabins.
Snowshoeing:
Experience
the Chilcotin Wilderness while snowshoeing to our surrounding
lakes, meadows and historical cabins. Guests have the option
of short or day treks from our lodge while staying in our
cozy cabins. Or you might wish to snowmobile to out camps
and snowshoe from there to the glaciers, alpine valleys and
mountain peaks while staying in our rustic Alpine camps or
cabins
Cross-country
skiing: Bring
your skis and enjoy the beautiful winter landscapes of the
Chilcotin. Trips can be based either out of the Lodge or one
of our Alpine base camps. Trips vary in length and difficulty
to accommodate beginners to seasoned skiers.
Ice-fishing:
Enjoy your own fresh caught dinner in the middle
of winter. Ice fishing can be done at one of the many lakes
near the lodge.
